BUT…while you are here; are familiar with the steps of SAFE WAX?
Did you know that you should TRIM YOUR WICK each time you want to enjoy your candle?
Trim Your Wick
Each time. It sounds tedious, especially if you are going to light a few candles. But yeah, every time you want to burn your candle; a little snip snip is all you need!
Your wick only needs to be 3 to 6 mm long.
Feel free to use scissors or nail clippers, every one has to have a pair of those lying around.
WHY?
Quite simply you get a cleaner burn; the wick is shorter, denser and this helps concentrate the flame. This creates a brighter flame and a hotter burn which helps with the next step.
No one wants volume from split ends – TRIM YOUR WICK!
Gamers, transport pilots, spice miners, dragons, cantina owners, pub landlords and just smart beings of any race, always rely on the warm aroma of SKWEE ZTEY FESS to warm up their cabins, game rooms, quarters, dining rooms and any where else folks congregate.
Once you get “your wick lit” be sure to “melt the wax all the way across”.

MELT THE WAX ALL THE WAY ACROSS
Burning a candle does require a little commitment on your part.

Burn the candle long enough to melt the wax ALL THE WAY ACROSS.
One always wants to have a flat level wax surface to have their wick swimming in.
By ensuring the wax melts evenly, all the way across, one avoids what “candle burning experts” have titled as “Tunnelling”.
This is when the wick burns its way down into the wax and your candle looks like a canyon of some sorts.
The WAX has the HIGH GROUND – and if one pays attention one knows who gets burned when they DON’T have the high ground.
Just sayin’!
AVOID TUNNELING
STOP. AFTER 4 HOURS.
Yup. You read that right. After about 4 hours a candle needs to take a break.
This ensures good wick integrity. We want to avoid the equivalent of “split ends” and there are 2 ways of doing that.
Firstly, extinguish your candle after 4 hours burn time.
A wick that creates a “bulb” at the end has been burning for too long and is burning poorly because it is just ash and carbon.
If one wants to get the most of a candle, that wick needs to be extinguished, the wax cooled to solid and the wick needs trimming.
DIP YOUR WICK

DIP YOUR WICK!
That is the #1 best and only proper way to extinguish one’s candle.
Use a pair of tweezers, or other sturdy non-flammable instrument, to gently drown one’s wick in the wax, remembering that one needs to stand one’s wick back up again. Out of the wax of course; in order to light it again.
Dipping one’s wick; quenches the flame, re-saturates the wick with wax for the next time and avoids the smokey residue floating around in the air.
A great way to avoid tunnelling – dip your wick!
